and I was telling her that one of the most annoying things about working on a first book is that when I go out looking for advice, I see tips from the likes of Ann Patchett. I mean. PLEASE. Of course - she is an amazing writer whose work I adore but - at least for me - it is so hard to take any of her tips to heart 🤦🏻♀️. Her level of achievement feels completely unattainable to me. Instead, I like to take inspiration from people who are not too different from me.I want to know how working moms with young children and full lives and real jobs who are entering their midlife portals are reconnecting with their creativity and making time for their passion projects.
